My first studio I dont even count bc we never went beyond basic baby steps and at competitions I never even placed or came close to. At the end of my senior year this past summer I was first runner up for overall senior solos for nationals. Its just shows that time period is irrelevant as long as you throw every fiber of your being down & dont leave a thing on the table, you can do it if you try.
