Heyy I just got a scholarship to a dance school in Europe and I'll be dancing there professionally starting in September! I just wanted your talented followers to know ill give them great advice and tips to help them achieve their dreams!
I cant decide if I should continue with pointe, I need your help! So, I just started this year, and did enjoy it. But this year is different, and continuing with pointe has its downside. 1) Its ruining my feet 2) My mom cant afford for me to take as many classes 3) I know I probably wont be a professional because of my skill level, nor do I have a strong desire 4) it would interfer with my job but I dont want to disappoint my classmates&teacher, what should I do!?
If you really like it, do it! If your worried about your feet, don’t worry! Your feet will become ugly, but stronger :P Maybe you could help your mom pay for classes since you have a job? Good luck :)
I don't know how I've had a dance blog for so long and never found yours! Haha your blog is incredible!
Thank you so much! :)
I'm almost more excited about going to an accredited Irish dance school next year than I am about university.
Completely normal :) But don’t let it distract you from your school work because that is important also!
i really want to be a professional (in hip hop) dancer but i started dancing less than a year ago and im 17 which is kind of late to start dancing.. the thing is i can dance pretty good and i have my groove and all but i dont have any technique and im trying to work on it but i think its a little to late to start and i dont know if i should keep working hard for it because i dont know if i will ever be good enough to be a professional.. what do you think?
I don’t think it is too late at all! But you have to be willing to work very hard :)
I have been recovering from a foot/ankle injury, and have been seeing a physical therapist. My mom is concerned about me going back en pointe, do you know of any good strengthening exercises??
Lots of plie releves and pointing and flexing your feet. You can also get a theraband to help strengthen your feet and ankles.

I just wanted to say I LOVE this blog. I only found it today and I've been looking through it forever lol. I think it's such a great way for everyone to vent or express their views or opinions on how much they've grown as dancers. (:
Thank you so much! I’m so happy you like it!
would hair extensions affect ballet?
Considering that your hair will most likely be pulled back in a bun, probably not!
