Heads up: I’m about to post around 10 confessions at once :P
jimmydoesfouettes asked: Does someone need oversplits to do stuff like a standing split or a leg hold turn? Like Jordan Casanova or Mollee Gray's legs. They're amazing!
gingerphoenix asked: To the anon who asked about binding... Yes! I do it all the time! When it comes to dance exams specifically, I find it much more comfortable to dance without that extra weight in the front. I dance with mostly flat chested girls, so I haven't met anyone else who binds for that reason, but I'm sure there are plenty of us!
Anonymous asked: Do you think it's acceptable to bind my chest for ballet? Nothing that restricts breathing of any sort. I used to bind for cosplay to look like a boy on the occasion. It's just so hard to find my balance with a growing D sized chest that never seems to go away no matter how much I exercise or how skinny I get. I always topple over from being so top heavy.
irresistible-dancing asked: would you ever give out a promo? :)
intergalacticballerina asked: Hi, I love your blog! Anyway I wanted to tell you that I was trying to submit, and it says the URL is broken. Just thought you ought to know..
the-only-exceptionbecause asked: PLEASE FOLLOW ME!!! <3333
emilychandler asked: thanks for following me :)
dance2expressnot2impress asked: Hey, i love your blog! It's beautiful, I can see you do ballet, I have a question I do belly dancing and tango and some other dances but my question is that would it be harder if I start doing ballet now? What can/should I do to improve? Would yoga help? Thanks for your time! :D
mayitbeaneveningstar asked: I really want to just give a big shoutout to all the girls who think they won't make it or can't make their dreams come true: YOU ARE YOUR OWN WORST ENEMY. You WILL fail because YOU think you will! You are worthy of success ladies(and gents). If you are willing to give every fiber of your being into your dream, you can ACHIEVE ANYTHING! I am twenty years old in college and I work my ass...

jimmydoesfouettes asked: To the hip hop dancer who wants to do lyrical. I started dancing my sophomore year with hip hop. Then I started doing contemporary. Now not to sound like an egotistical douche but I'm pretty damn good at it and I'm a senior now. I've helped teach contemporary and lyrical at dance schools in my city. You have time to start lyrical. Go for it!

sunflowerinthemoonlight asked: To the freshman hip-hop dancer: Dont you dare say its too late. I switched studios my sophmore year. My first studio I dont even count bc we never went beyond basic baby steps and at competitions I never even placed or came close to. At the end of my senior year this past summer I was first runner up for overall senior solos for nationals. Its just shows that time period is irrelevant as long as...
Contest!
I think I have an idea. I was thinking of maybe doing a Confession of the Week every week? Every Saturday you can vote on which confession was your favorite for that week. Only one vote per person can be submitted, and it is okay to vote for yourself if you want to :P On Sunday morning I will tally up the votes and give the top 3 and you will vote for first place from there. All finalists will get...

Anonymous asked: the last submission about the girl who hates going to competitions because it hurts her self confidence I just wanted to say that those girls should motivate her. I am not the best dancer but when I go to competitions and see everyone's talent I know it pushes me even harder to become better and reach their level. I don't let it push me down because I know that will put me farther...
